Further specialist Goalkeeper Coaching is provided by the Club's full-time Goalkeeper Coach and 'Gothenburg Great', Jim Leighton. Jim, together with the clubs pro 'keepers, supports the youth development programme with regular coaching at our base in Aberdeen, as well as visits to our satellite centres throughout Scotland.

Willie Miller - Director of Football
Since being appointed to the Board of Directors, Willie Miller has taken up the post of Director of Football. Part of this role is a review of the football function at the Club, including the key area of Elite Youth Development. In his playing career, which spanned over 20 years with the Dons, Willie amassed an impressive 65 caps for Scotland and was involved in all of the Clubs cup successes in the Seventies and Eighties.

Neil Simpson - Assisitant Director (Junior Squads)
Neil 'Simmy' Simpson previously headed up the Club's Community Programme before moving across to the Youth Academy to take control of the U10-13s age bracket. Simmy starred for the Dons for over 10 years during the Club's Golden era in the 80s and early 90s and brings a wealth of experience to the role.
