The Club's Elite Youth Development Programme is presided over by the Aberdeen Football Club Youth Development Board. This Board comprises high profile individuals who have a good understanding of youth football and who are strong supporters of the Club.

The board's role:

• to raise the profile of the Elite Youth Development Programme.
• to attract funds for the programme.
• to develop events and initiatives to attract potential income.
• to oversee the strategy and operation of the Elite Youth Development Programme.
• to act as ambassadors for the Aberdeen Football Club Elite Programme throughout Scotland.
• to offer advice and new initiatives to continuously develop the programme and provide increased opportunity for success.
