Sport Relief hits Pittodrie
Chappers and Comedy Dave paid a visit to Pittodrie this week as part of their Radio 1 Sport Relief Challenge.
The pair, who feature on the Scott Mills and Chris Moyles BBC Radio 1 shows, have set off on a mission to complete a mile at every top flight football ground in Scotland and England.
The Radio 1 duo were greeted by torrential conditions at Pittodrie but the enthusiasm of 200 school children from Seaton Primary and Hanover Street Primary, who were full of voice, more than spurred the boys on during their run. Angus the Bull was also on hand to lend the pair some support.
The DJs were presented with signed AFC shirts before completing the Pittodrie mile in 8:33.00
After leaving Pittodrie, Chappers and Dave continued their journey down to the central belt to completing miles at Dundee United, Falkirk, Hibs and Hearts.
Their challenge will continue until Friday when its end coincides with the Sport Relief TV show on BBC 1.
By the end of the week they will have run more than 30 miles at grounds from Inverness to Portsmouth.
