The Dons second string ended the season in disappointment with a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Killie at Glebe Park. Paul McInnes gave the visitors the lead after 9 minutes but just after the half hour mark, Aberdeen leveled when captain for the day Chris Maguire headed home a Jeffrey de Visscher corner.

Walker restored Kilmarnock's advantage in the 64^th minute and two minutes later David Cox added a third before Steve Lovell pulled one back after good work by Maguire down the left. Youngsters Jonathon Crawford and Nicky Clark were yellow carded by referee Neil Watters.
