The Dons slumped to a LinksPark defeat at the hands of a strong Hearts outfit, with a Gary Dempsey penalty all they had to show for a disappointing ninety minutes of SPL Reserve League action.

Sandy Clark's men got off to the worst possible start when Stuart Smith diverted a 2nd minute effort past his own goalkeeper Derek Soutar. A quarter of an hour later Lithuanian international Linas Pilibaitis made it two and six minutes after the break the same player added number three.

Gary Dempsey pulled one back for the Dons shortly afterwards to complete the scoring.
